Constipation is a serious condition. A sticky paste from white flour, rice and pasta lodge in the colon, stays there and traps the toxic waste that should be eliminated.

Constipation is a clogging up of poisonous waste matters and toxins in the colon, causing inability to eliminate. This dangerous health hazard has been ignored or accepted as a life style by too many.

What Causes Constipation?

There are many habitual contributors to constipation, but the main one is from a regular diet of refined and processed foods. The other contributors are a lack of fiber, some medications, especially pain killers, excess iron, antidepressants, food allergies, tap water, lack of magnesium and potassium, poor muscle tone, lack of water, hypothyroidism and obesity.

The digestive system was not designed to handle the amount of food paste from the white sugar, white flour, white rice, pasta, and hydrogenated fats. All the white refined products turn into destructive paste and sugar that destroy the vitamins and minerals. These foods also contribute to diseases such as colon cancer, hemorrhoids, varicose veins, appendicitis, harmful bacteria, yeast, parasites, injury to the bowel nerve, and the break-down of the organs. The sticky paste from white flour, rice and pasta constantly lodge in the colon, stays there and traps the toxic waste that should be eliminated daily.

Diet to Correct Constipation Problem

It is best to shop at the whole foods store for fruits and vegetables. Eliminate all white sugar and white flour products such as cookies, muffins, biscuits, cakes, crackers, breads, pasta, macaroni, white rice, sodas, and sweets.

Regular times for the daily bowel movements should be observed. Relieve your bowel whenever the need to eliminate is evident. It is difficult for the bowel to move in a body that does not exercise at all. Some type of exercise is necessary every day.

Start your day with a glass of purified water with lemon juice. Eat small meals at a time, and make sure they contain enough fiber to encourage bowel movement. For perfect nourishment, vitamins and minerals should be included in a daily diet. Magnesium is one of the most important nutrients for constipation problem and the muscles. A deficiency of magnesium can cause muscle cramping. It is imperative to include acidophilus bacillus this is found in plain yogurt or in supplemental form. Apples, cabbage, figs, papaya, pineapple and prunes. Foods high in fiber, magnesium, potassium and folic acid.

The natural food supplements that are important for maximal nourishment and regular bowel movements are: Magnesium and calcium together in solution form, potassium, vitamin B complex, vitamin C and a good multimineral/multivitamin combination. Drink 8 glasses of purified water daily, or as much as the body can take.

Red meats and other meats should be avoided for a while. The diet must include vegetables and grain proteins. When frequent elimination is achieved, white meat protein such as fish and chicken breast can be added slowly.

The correct position for bowel movements should be sitting backward with the knees elevated toward the stomach. Do not sit and bend forward because that will twist the colon and cut off the elimination flow.

Who would think this "simple" position of sitting correctly on the toilet would assist in elimination?
