Trying the Weight Watchers Core Plan

Even if you know allot about nutrition, it can be helpful to use a plan to track your progress.

Today, I decided to try the Weight Watchers Core Plan. I have used the Flex plan with some success but, I felt that I began to obsess about the points all day. So far, I think the core plan could be really useful. Most of the foods are in my diet right now anyway. They stress that you pay attention to how full you are. You get a points allowance for the week for treats. So, hopefully I won't feel deprived. You can also earn extra points for exercise. It seems very manageable. Eating healthy is a challenge for everyone I think. Temptation is everywhere.

I also really like that they have a check off area that has you check off the servings of what you should be getting everyday like diary, veggies, fruit, water, and multi vitamins. You even can track servings of healthy fats. Very progressive I think. It would be better if this was automatic so the software could give you an idea how good you are doing. It is my experience that people tend to think they eat healthier than they really do and also less than they actually do.

Wish me luck! I'll try to blog about this in a few weeks to let you know how it well it really does work!
