I switched over the to Flex plan. For me, and with my family, it is much easier to manipulate through my day with the kind of flexibility the flexplan offers. So that I do not obsess about points, I decided to write everthing down at the beginning or sometimes end of my day. So far, this has been working well. I just keep in mind how to keep my points low with out exactly counting them. I also stick to fruits and veggies. This does make it really easy to stay in my points. I notice that when I want junk food, then I get obsessive about points. I start bargaining on how I can make it happen. Based on my own plan, I am trying to only eat some junk on the weekends, if I really want it. just for the health of it, I am trying to cut as much sugar out of my diet as I can. Sugar is a serious ager, as well as does a host of other negative things to the body. It is one of the hardest things to kick because it is every where! I think that it is probably harder than drugs, in a way. You don't see drugs advertised on TV or being sold along side some healthier things that you need! Maybe there should be the "healthy food store" and then a separate food just for junk (I think that is how is used to be somewhat). Then, we could be at the very least, less tempted by it.
I am off on a tangent. This approach to the Weight Watchers is a little different for me. I plan to keep you updated. If I start to get obsessed, then that is it, I may have to crawl back to the core plan and tell my family to deal with it!
